CCP Students and Parents
We’re excited to announce that Mrs. Manriquez has been approved to offer a College Credit Plus (CCP) Art course at Ayersville for both the fall and spring semesters through Owens Community College. The course offered is ART 101: Art Appreciation.
Most college majors require 6 semester hours in Arts/Humanities as part of their general education requirements. This course will fulfill 3 of those hours at most institutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a CCP course right here at Ayersville that meets a common general education requirement for many degree programs. To verify how the credit transfers to potential colleges, please visit Transferology.
On Monday, August 11th at 7:30 PM in the Commons, a representative from Owens will be present to assist CCP students with both the application and registration process for the course at Ayersville.
A PARENT MUST ALSO ATTEND THIS MEETING.
For any questions, please contact Mrs. Phipps at kim.phipps@ayersvillepilots.org.

Mr. Potts recently participated in the Research Experience for Teachers (RET) program, a collaborative initiative between Bowling Green State University and the National Science Foundation. This program is designed to deepen educators’ understanding of STEM fields — particularly in the area of advanced manufacturing — and bring that real-world knowledge back to the classroom.
Through his involvement, Mr. Potts is helping students connect classroom learning to the skills and technologies that drive today's workforce.
