Junior After-Prom is doing concession stands for a 4th grade girls basketball tourney on January 24th. We need 2-3 parents AND 2-3 students each shift. Shifts are: 7:30am-9:30am, 9:30am-11:30am, 11:30am-1:30pm. An email has gone out to students as well. They were also asked to talk to their parents about helping. For the next six weeks, the Ayersville Community Natatorium will have a slight change to the weekly operating schedule.
Effective 12/11, we will be CLOSED on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
All other hours will remain the same, and regular morning availability will resume once this temporary adjustment ends.

Ayersville Local Schools invites all senior citizens who reside in the district to join us for a Senior Citizen Breakfast on Thursday, December 4th at 8:30 AM in the Commons.
Guests will enjoy a warm breakfast, special Christmas songs performed by our elementary students, and a short presentation from Nick Wichman, Director of Defiance County Senior Services & Summit 60 Social Centers.

Ayersville Local Schools is saddened to share the passing of Mr. Nelson Okuley, an Ayersville Hall of Honor inductee and former school board member. Nelson passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 99.

Ayersville Local Schools is proud to share that Jim Jurcevich, an Ayersville graduate and standout distance runner, has been selected for induction into the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame.
Jim will be formally inducted during the OATCCC Hall of Fame Banquet on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Hilton at Easton in Columbus. This honor recognizes his exceptional achievements, dedication to the sport, and lasting impact on Ohio track and cross country.
We also want to thank Dan Mix for nominating Jim and ensuring our school community was informed.
