Mr. Dales High School Health Classes:
Students are learning about the serious health risk linked to: smoking tobacco,, smokeless tobacco, vaping and smoking marijuana. The students are also learning about strategies to prevent tobacco use and reason to give up tobacco and getting help to quit. They have also studied the harmful effects of secondhand smoke on nonsmokers, unborn children, infants and young children. Not one time did Mr. Dales tell his class to not smoke but he taught them what could happen to their bodies if they made the choice to smoke. Mr. Dales goal, is to provide the students with very knowledgeable information to help them make a great decision not to smoke. The class will end this unit by making an anti-smoking poster directed towards teenagers.
