The Franklin B Walters Scholarship is now available for Seniors. Application is available in Guidance.
Four County applications for the 25/26 school year are now open. Students can apply by going to Four County's website and clicking on the red tab "Apply Now" in the top header bar.
Yesterday, our students had the incredible opportunity to engage with Clint Musser, a highly accomplished individual. Clint is a graduate of Penn State University, where he achieved the distinction of being an NCAA wrestling runner-up. After earning his degree, Clint continued his athletic journey, winning a silver medal at the Pan American Games. He later transitioned into mixed martial arts (MMA), securing an amateur national title before turning professional.
Following his athletic career, Clint pursued coaching, serving on the wrestling staff at Kent State, American, and Cleveland State Universities. Currently, he is the Multi-Area Director for Northeast Ohio Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and the girls' wrestling coach at Walsh Jesuit High School.
During his visit, Ayersville’s FCA chapter shared a lunch of fellowship with Clint. In the afternoon, he spoke at a Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) assembly for students in grades 7 through 12, sharing his powerful story of overcoming addiction. To close the day, Clint led a wrestling practice for our junior high and high school wrestlers.

All Sophomores will be going to FCCC on December 6th to visit two vocational programs of their choice. A representative from FCCC presented the programs to the students earlier this month and students were able to select two programs they want to visit. Learning about vocational programs is part of all the student's career planning.
Seniors planning on attending NWSCC after graduation should check out all the Foundation Scholarships NWSCC has to offer. 47% of students attending NWSCC paid $0 in tuition!

The Fifth Masonic District Association Scholarship is now available in Guidance. An email was sent out to Seniors with the information. Seniors were also reminded to watch college's deadlines for application and financial aid . The FAFSA is scheduled to be available on Dec 1, 2024. Male students are reminded they need to register with the Selective Service after turning 18 in order to be eligible for financial aid.

Seniors and parents can start getting ready to complete the FAFSA for financial aid which is scheduled to be available early December. Students and parents will need a log in ID which can be set up now. Go to https://studentaid.gov to create an account. Be sure to save your account information as you will need this to complete the FAFSA and will be able to use this the entire college career.
Senior males (18 yrs old) are required to register with the Selective Service at https://www.sss.gov prior to completing the FAFSA. Students will not receive aid or scholarships until registered.
