The Ayersville Music Department is excited to announce that we have the opportunity to represent Ayersville in 5 out of 6 of the District I Honors Ensembles in January. Students in grades 7-12 auditioned with hundreds of other students from Northwest Ohio, from Toledo to Hicksville, to be a member of these highly selective ensembles. Congratulations to all that took the time to prepare an audition!

This is a reminder that Ayersville will run on a scheduled 2 hour delay tomorrow (12/7) for the purpose of staff professional development. This delay includes Four County students. The Four County bus will depart around 9:50 a.m.

The Junior Varsity Quiz Bowl team took second place at the Defiance County Tournament today! Congratulations!

Quiz Bowlers just finished round one. Both the varsity and junior varsity won and hoping to continue winning.
Special Event: Both Boys and Girls Basketball will be playing tomorrow night vs Patrick Henry. Your ticket is good for all 4 games. Get your tickets online at https://www.vancoevents.com/BOPG

4:30pm- JV Boys (HS Gym), JV Girls (MS Gym)
6pm- Varsity Girls (HS Gym), This game will start around 6pm

Ayersville Reserved Seating: The home section is reserved seating; Any available seats in this section will have a sign on them. Thank you being respectful or our reserved seating.
Visiting Fans and General Admission seating is located behind the team benches.

Anatomy I students demonstrated their knowledge of protein synthesis with a lego relay race. Student teams consisted of a DNA, mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA that had to work together to make a final protein. Pictured are student teams with their final proteins.

Senior English students recently finished reading and studying Seamus Heaney's "Beowulf." As a review for their test, they had to solve Anglo-Saxon riddles and use their knowledge of the epic and the English language to unlock the "buried" treasure.
