From Mrs. Maas’ classroom: We did a Science experiment with pop and Mentos! It was a fun experiment and a fun way to learn about the Scientific Method! Next we will figure out our results and our conclusion.

From Coach Dales’ Health class: Students gave their Current Event Article Presentations both from home and school. The class discussed current health topics that we are faced with today in our society: Rylan gave a great presentation to the class about a current health topic.

From Mr. Silver’s class: Physics students are studying the variables that affect the period of a pendulum. They collected data that will be used to calculate the length of an unknown pendulum.

From Ms. Budke’s class: It's great to be back to reading! Sophomores are hitting the books again and reading W. W. Jacobs' "The Monkey's Paw," while they practice tying their inferences to specific elements of the text.

From Mrs. Reiner’s classes: Tyson is showing off knowing all of the Bill of Rights. In AP US History- students are discussing the causes of the American Revolution and ranking which is the number one cause. They are using evidence to support their answer.

From Mr. Flory’s classroom:
The Financial Algebra class is learning how to convert raw data into a z-score and then into a percentage that places it onto the normal distribution curve. Now that's a lot of numbers!

From Mr. Pott’s classroom:
Ava, Mila and the rest of the Computer Apps class are working extremely hard to learn how to type quickly and accurately using home row typing. The students have a goal to type 45 words per minute by the end of the semester.

From Miss Stehura’s Choir room:
7th grade students are rehearsing “Song for the Unsung Hero”. It was written to honor those lost in 9/11. They are preparing for veteran’s day program. This is only their second day rehearsing the song!

From Mrs. Kieffer’s room: Tyson is taking the initiative to study for his Adv. Math quiz. Alg 1 students are in a flipped classroom: they watch a video of the lesson the night before and in class they do problems. This way, they can get immediate help when they are confused.
