Ayersville High School students, parents, and families:

I cannot believe that it is already the first week of August! I hope that each of you have enjoyed the summer! 

I have a couple of brief updates for your attention over the next couple of weeks leading up to the start of the school year.

First, if you haven’t had the chance to, please check out our website: You will see that the website is very much new and improved! We will be generating content for the website on a daily basis as we work towards and throughout the new school year! Please check back often! I would also like to let you all know that we will have a brand new application that will be available for free in both Apple App Store and the Google Play Store in the near future. This will allow for increased communication directly to your mobile device! This will replace the previously used text alert system.

While visiting the website you will notice that there is a separate site for each building (Elementary and High School) as well as the Athletic Department. Please visit your respective building for all necessary information!

At the top of the district webpage, as well as both the Elementary and High School buildings, you will see a link to the 2021-2022 School Calendar. I’ve attached the calendar below for your reference. Please check this out as it has been updated with all of the Waiver Day and 2-hour delays for the year. Those days are:

Waiver Days (teacher in-service days): August 30, November 1, January 14, and March 18

2-Hour Delays: October 6, December 1, February 2, April 6, and May 4

Please be on the lookout for an email notifying you that the Registration Portal has been opened. This is for all students whether they are returning students or new students. Every student must register. I do ask that you pay careful attention when completing all of the information so that the correct phone numbers, email address, and mailing addresses are on file. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact Mrs. Flory in the District Office at 419-395-1111 or

Lastly, if your 7th grade or 12th grade students are in need of immunizations, as required by the state of Ohio, I encourage you to get those appointments scheduled in the near future! Once completed, please bring in a copy of the immunization record to the office or have the doctor’s office fax a copy to the school at 419-395-2566.
