On Saturday, four students in our new Intro to Officiating class were able to gain some on field experience working at the Special Olympics Ohio Northwest Regional Flag Football Tournament. These students are currently in the process of becoming licensed OHSAA officials in multiple sports during the semester long class. Part of the class is to help these students gain first hand experience as an official, so be on the look out for some of our very own Pilots working during contest this school year. In the first semester we currently have thirteen students in the course getting certified in various sports. Students who were able to participate in the Flag Football event were from left to right: Louie Zimmerman, Bradyn Gray, Andrew Englehart and Braylon Young.
