Here are the highlights from our June 28th BOE meeting as prepared by Board Member Char Ondrus.

Hello Pilot Nation. Treasurer Abby Sharp shared that we will continue with the Four County Career Center satellite program regarding our Vo. Ag. Department and we are pleased to welcome Madisen Morlock as our new Vo. Ag. Instructor. Ariel Stehura was also extended a one year contract as the vocal music instructor replacing Mr. Scott Turner. Also approved was a resolution to place our natatorium renewal levy and our income tax renewal on the November ballot. Mrs. Hench, sitting in for Superintendent Diglia, reported that 138 students participated in our summer swimming lessons. Next, the many successes of our spring sports and athletes were acknowledged: Issac Miler, Nikki Fishpaw, Kaylee Dockery, Ally Schindler, Teryn Bour, Lily Wiesgerber and Tyson Schlachter in track; Kelly Limbaugh, Kaylor Martin, Hailey Jonnson and Mikala Schindler in softball; Caden Craft, Blake Eiden and Zac Moss in baseball. The resignations of Kent Holsopple, Assistant Treasurer, and Katie Winkle, Intervention Specialist, were accepted. Melissa Kern was hired as part time Assistant to the Treasurer. Elementary Principal Beth congratulated retirees Sue Baker and Dan Mix. The successes of both of Bump Up Day for grades 4-11 and our recent summer school program were presented by both Mrs. Hench and Mr. Luderman. A walk through for the class of 2021 and 2033 was held on the track as a "passing of the torch" moment. He also reported that all students that were credit deficient are back on track!
